tour stops and book signings

This summer, we are hitting the tracks on an epic Amtrak book tour to host signing events and homesteading demos, at urban garden centers and community gardens across the country.

Stops include: 

Seattle
June 17: Village Green Nursery, joint event with Seattle Urban Farm Company (who also have a great book out!). This free book signing event starts at 1 p.m. Heirloom cocktails, featuring Bainbridge Organic Spirits will be served! 

Portland
June 19:

2 p.m. garden demo and book signing at City Farm 

Then, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., head to Besaw’s for heirloom cocktails and a book signing party! $15 includes a signed copy, cocktail with House Spirits Distillery, and a sampling of small plates featuring food right from Besaw’s raised beds.

San Francisco
June 21: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 18 Reasons.

Book signing party featuring local beer and wine, music and tapas from Bi-Rite Farm.

Boulder
June 25: Book signing and cocktail party at Black Cat and Bramble & Hare Farm-to-table restaurant. $20 includes a signed copy of the book, seed packets, a garden inspired cocktail and B&H menu preview of bar snacks.

Austin
June 27: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Springdale Urban Farm.

Join us for an heirloom cocktail featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka, tomato tastings, and great local fare from Pâté Letelier and other HOPE Farmers Market food artisans, served up by SOURCE Catering. 
 
$15 includes a signed copy, an heirloom cocktail, and food crafted right from the farm!

Asheville
June 29: Book signing party at Short Street Cakes! Come enjoy a Tito’s Heirloom Cocktail, and sample delicious treats by Jodi Rhodin, owner and author of the fabulous Cake Ladies, and Small Measure’s Ashley English, writer of the awesome Homemade Living Series. 

Philadelphia
July 7: Greensgrow Farms, joint event with Marisa McClellan of Food in Jars.

New York
